Congratulations to Dagenham United Reserves who secured the point that they needed on Wednesday night against rivals Goresbrook to ensure that the silverware will be heading back to Manor Road this season.
A very hotly contested match of the highest order saw Dagenham lead early into the second half before a great finish from Goresbrook brought the sides level at 1-1. Despite the late onslaught from Goresbrook, Dagenham United held on for the most important point of the season which ensured they can't be caught.
Well done to everybody involved with the club on a terrific achievement in what has been one of the most competitive divisions this season.
