Elan F.C.

At an Extraordinary General Meeting of the league held on 5th March 2008 prior to the council meeting, a vote by secret ballot elected to expel Elan F.C. from the league.

It is always regrettable when a decision such as this one is taken, especially with a club with such talented players as those possessed by Elan. However it was felt that their continued and sustained poor disciplinary record was such that it was impossible for the club to continue within the confines of our league, especially as some clubs declined to play them and referees refused to officiate their matches.

The club have made it clear that they intend to appeal to Essex County regarding our decision, therefore at this time the table remains unchanged.
