Esprit joined the League in 03/04 and gained promotion from

Division Three to Division One at the first attempt

The original idea of Esprit Football Club was created back in 1995, by a group of school boys, changed their usual weekly kickabout in the local park to form the club. Esprit F.C. joined the Football Association and by the following season had been elected into the Sunday Corinthian League.

After 7 years in the Sunday Corinthian, Esprit moved to the more organised Essex Sunday Corinthian Football League in 2003 for a higher standard of football.

Esprit has always believed in fair play and respect towards their opponents and officials, part of the reason why everyone associated with the club enjoy playing on Sunday mornings. Since its establishment until the end of 2003, 100 players have worn the purple and white colours of Esprit.
