SENIOR DIVISION

There are two sides sitting top on four points at the top of the table with Brook Athletic edging clear by a single goal following their first league win of the campaign, defeating Total Football in a 4-0 scoreline. Tom Canham struck twice with Warren Kayembe and Callum Ibe scoring the others.

Also on four points are second placed FLY who remain un beaten, adding a draw to their opening day win, in a rare scoreless draw with promoted Critics. It was certainly a case of defences on top of this one with little between the sides with Critics making it two points from two.

The third game of the day saw Baiteze Squad and London All Stars both start their new seasons with the east London derby and it proved to be a winning start for the hosts who followed up a strong pre-season with all three points in a 4-1 win. Bruno Tavares scored a hat-trick for Baiteze and Phillip Brown struck the other.

DIVISION ONE

Benchviews are the early leaders in Division One, doubling their points tally for the season on Sunday with narrow win in a five-goal thriller against Barking Riverside, winning 3-2 eventually. Daniel Baeth, Jesse Jones and J Alinc scored the visitors goals to ensure they took all three points away from Dagenham.

Second placed AC Milano begun their new season with an emphatic victory as they defeated JK Silvertown in the east London derby, a strong second half performance leading them to a 6-1 away win in Beckton. Much of the success can be aligned with David Alele's four-goal performance with Uzair Patel and Abdul Rajab also scoring.

Barking & Dagenham Wanderers sit third as they bounced back well from their opening day defeat to take three points, producing a solid winning performance against St Augustines at Robert Clack. Aaron Hendricks and Augustine Appiah were the Saints' scorers but two Dwayne Francis-Riley goals and one each from Alex Leslie and Deji Akinyemi turned things in Wanderers favour.

DIVISION TWO

There was plenty of entertainiment in Division Two with two high-scoring draws, beginning at Chigwell School where Colebrook Royals got themselves into a three goal lead with goals from Nicholas Chrysanthou, Kaci Henry and Nedret Ozkasim. But the hosts were literally on Cloud 9 as they fought back to take a point with Jake Griffin, James Runham and Jamie Randall all finding the onion bag.

Two other sides went one better in east London as Condor make their debut in the competition with an exciting 4-4 draw against Higham Hill as both teams settled for a share of the spoils. A goal apiece from Chris Hambis, Billy Harris, Asim Khan and Bryan Smith accounted for Hill's efforts with Pinzari Andrei and Liviu Tihon each bagging a brace.

Over at West Ham Park, the early season league leaders, Debden Sports Reserves, made it two wins from two games as they took home all three points from East London Ballers, recording a 2-0 win to move two points clear at the top. Jayden Francis and Harry Maslin were the scorers for Sports to maintain their winning start.

DIVISION THREE

In Division Three, Upshire Forest are sitting top of the table with a pair of early season victories, completing a 4-1 away win on Sunday against Barking. Rhys Thurgood's hat-trick paved the way for Forest, Callum Gater netting the other, rendering Justin Lopes' goal as just consolation in the end for the hosts.

Two teams sit on four points in second, beginning with City Site who remain unbeaten in the division but this time being held to a point by an unbeaten Singh Sabha Barking side. Harry Watkins and Robert Garvan both scored for City but Barking goals from Ryan Dubb and Victor Ferrini

Matthew Hamilton scored for the visitors but two Rowan Newland goals and a Tommy Abrams effort sent the points home with the hosts.

Completing the action from the division, JP8 secured their first point of the season with a home draw against United Amateurs. It was certainly defences on top in the game with a goalless draw the outcome as JP8 moved up into seventh, the visitors a place above that in sixth.

DIVISION FOUR

It was a busy morning in Division Four where the top two sides went head-to-head in Chigwell with Colebrook Royals Reserves taking on Warren Senior who both had opening day wins. Lloyd Ross and Daniel Ross both scored for the visitors with Brandon Fulton and Phorell Brooke goals for Royals making it a 2-2 final score.

It was a winning competitive debut for Silencio who got off the mark in great style with a strong 4-1 win against Byron Red Star at Hylands Park. Jack Richardson scored twice, with Bradley Valva and Sion Daley goals the difference in the sides with Richard Oduwole netting the Star consolation goal in reply.

Sitting in fourth place after their opening day win are Cardinals Athletic who made a winning start to life in the league, defeating Eastern Avenue in a tight game in Dagenham. There was opening day delight for Mansfield Rangers who got their season underway with an away victory against Ace Athletics over in Barkingside. Rangers were 3-1 winners with Jack Cousins, BIlly Happe and Claudius Edwards all on the scoresheet and Louie Seaman netting the Ace goal in reply for the hosts.

After defeat last week, May & Baker EC got their first win as a team, producing a 2-0 winning performance at home against Athletic Newham to get their first points on the board for the season. Frankie Westland and Joel Williams were the men on target for Bakers, a result which moved them up into seventh place.

DIVISION SIX

Seven teams share the lead in Division Six with Chingford Athletic sitting top after their first game of the season, the Waltham Abbey based side producing a 5-1 winning performance against Barking Colts. DIVISION SEVEN

It's been a good start to the season for Colebrook Royals A who made it two wins from two following elevation into open age football, defeating Emerson & Upminster this week in a 5-1 scoreline. Louis Cook-Forrester scored for Emerson but Royals goals from Zak Woolf, James Deaney, Jake Austin and George Marlborough were enough for their side.

Warren United sit second in the standings after the first two weeks, following up a draw on the opening day with a victory this time out, defeating Epping Forest Falcons in a 6-2 scoreline.  Harry Turner scored two of the goals with further efforts from Daniel Beresford, Shanlon Thomas, William Sandell and Syed Shamil rounding off the win.
