SENIOR DIVISION

Two teams share top spot in the Senior Division, on five points apiece, Brook Athletic edging it on goal difference after three weeks of the season following their 1-1 draw away at last season's runners-up, Flyhouse Athletic. Harry Carter got himself on the Brook scoresheet to help stay unbeaten and earn a point.

Just below by the virtue of goal difference, FLY's unbeaten start also continued as they faced a stiff test in the form of a visiting Baiteze Squad side to east London. A goal apiece from Steven Carvell and Jay Knight for Baiteze were equalled by a couple of host goals as the game neded in a 2-2 draw at the County Ground.

The reigning champions, Hatch Lane, got underway in a nine-goal thriller away at Total Football. Despite not yet picking up any points Total gave a good account of themselves with Mahnu Bhabutta, Marcus Painter, Nile Painter and Oliver Marshall goals getting them close. But two strikes from Gebrai Samrai and others from Tyler Dolan, Montel Shalders-Gayle and Psaul Henry-Aimoglou made it a 5-4 Hatch win.

There was a maiden first competitive victory for new boys Club 1017 who picked up their first win in the competition with a home succ ess against London All Stars, winning the game 4-2. Aderemi Aderogba scored two with Michael Adewale and Deon Onyeneke netting the others to hand the hosts the points.

DIVISION ONE

There were two thrillers in Division One on Sunday , beginning with the early league leaders as Benchviews made it three wins on the bounce at the start of their campaign, edging a close game with JK Silvertown in a 3-2 scoreline. Jesse Jones scored twice and Daniel Baeth netted the other to give the leaders another three point haul.

There was an eight-goal thriller at Robert Clack as Cinoci's debut came away at Barking & Dagenham Wanderers, Wanderers eventually coming away with a second league win with a 5-3 scoreline. Joshua Renwick-Smith scored twice for Wanderers, Rivaldo Vinda, Deji Akinyemi and Ali Durowoju netting the others while Reece Barrett got on the scoresheet for the visitors.

DIVISION TWO

It was a busy morning in Division Two where the leaders, Debden Sports Reserves, extended their lead to three points at the top with a third win on the spin, beating Higham Hill 5-2 at Jubilee. Will Osmond was on fire with four of the goals while brother Tom struck the other to round off the result.

Belfry also have a perfect record so far and got their second win with a solid home victory aganst co-tenants Condor at Fairlop Oak. Luke MacDonald and Ryan O'Connell both struck twice for the hosts with Sam Harold netting the other to hand them a 5-0 win on the day, taking their points tally to six.

Fourth placed Leytonstone Athletic put in a great performance on the road at Ainslie to move up into the top half with their first win of the season. Braces from George Burton and Kai Dobson, along with Bruno Dos Santos and Tom Simon were enough for the visitors while James Sims Williams scored both of the Ainslie goals in reply.

There was a seven-goal thriller at Grange Farm where Colebrook Royals Seniors and East London Ballers put on a show, Ballers eventually prevailing by that odd goal to win it 4-3. Alan McCormack, Nicholas Chrysanthou and Kaci Henry all got on the Royals scoresheet but those goals proved not quite enough.

In the other game from the division, FC Galaxy bounced back well from their opening day defeat to earn all three points at home against Daglanta over in Dagenham. Mihai Marenciuc scored twice for the hosts and those proved pivotal as the hosts ran out narrow 2-1 winners in the end.

DIVISION THREE

In Division Three, it's Upshire Forest who lead the way after three weeks and three victories, the Waltham Abbey based side taking another win courtest of a 3-0 result against South Ilford Catholics. Jimmy Brooker, Rhys Thurgood and Daniel Roult were the players on target to confirm maximum points once again.

Unbeaten Valence United trail behind by a couple of points after they renewed old acquantancies with United Amateurs in Dagenham, winning the game 5-1. Rowan Newland (2), Jordan Cook, Tommy Abrams and Charlie Fiander all found the back of the net with Jack Chawner's effort for Amateurs proving just consolation.

JP8 got their first win as a competitive side under their belts on Sunday after they came away 3-0 winners from their home clash with FC Leytonstone to move up into fourth place in the standings. Two goals from Ryan Kelland led the way with Charly Bruce accredited with the other to complete the scoring.

Also scooping a first win of the season were Barking who, after two opening defeats, it was third time lucky as they earned a 1-0 win away at Singh Sabha Barking at Newbury Park to open their points account. The only goalscoring moment of the game came courtesy of Darryl McDonald who popped up with the winner for his side.

Over in East Ham, City Site were the first visitors to AC Milano Reserves and the two sides proved to be well matched on the day with both having to settle for a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw. The experienced Robbie Farrell got the CIty goal, though this was equalled by AC to level up the contest.

DIVISION FOUR

In Division Four, things are super tight at the top with four sides within a point of each other, led by the only remaining unbeaten side, Colebrook Royals Reserves, who completed a second league win of the season in three, beating Cardinals Athletic 4-0 in Chigwell. D'jean Holland scored two, Phorell Brooke and Brandon Fulton netting the others in a Royals win.

Sitting second by the virtue of goals scored are Prospect Protege who made it two wins in three with a strong showing away at Warren Senior at Westlands. George Breen and Harry Glenister both scored for the hosts but the visitors demonstrated their strong Prospects with goals from Tommy Burke, Alexander Brennand, Ethan Knight and Emmanuel Alo.

Woodford Town sit third, also with a couple of wins as they extended their points tally with a strong home victory against previously unbeaten Silencio at Whitbreads. Luke Dimond once again proved his value by scoring all three goals for the hosts as they ran out comfortable 3-0 winners to maintain their decent start.

Picking up their first win of the season, Eastern Avenue will be much happier with their performance as they bagged their first points, beating Horse & Well in a 4-1 victory in Debden. Chris Chettleburgh scored the Well goal for his side but that proved not quite enough on the day.

DIVISION FIVE

Coppice Row sit top of Division Five and one of four unbeaten sides so far, making it two wins and a draw in three with an 8-0 home win against Alpha. Jack Speakman, Mathus de Lima, Jake Mernagh and Mergim Marku all struck braces for the hosts who have made a strong start to their season.

Manford Way sit as the first of three sides on six points after confirming a second successive league win with a 2-0 away victory against Athletic Newham over in Beckton. James Dixon and Charlie Moore were the players on the scoresheet for the visitors who will be pleased with their start so far.

Another side with six points are May & Baker EC who put their second league win of the campaign on the board with a thrilling 3-2 home win against previously unbeaten Royal Lions B in Dagenham. Merveil Kasanganay and Keenan Lewis both for the Lions but two Shane Hovell goals in reply plus a Jordan Miller effort won it 3-2 in Baker's favour.

It was a debut in the competition for Hainault Athletic on Sunday who started their campaign with a trip to Dagenham to take on Lonsdale at Castle Green. With both sides well matched on the day, the game ended in a 1-1 score draw with Adam Newbold striking for Athletic and Emanuel Ntoi getting the Lonsdale goal.

DIVISION SIX

Woodford Town Reserves are top of Division Six after a three weeks of the season, sharing top spot with two other sides, on the back of a second league win of the season, defeating FC Mexico B in Barkingside in a 5-1 scoreline. Town goals from Conor Medhurst (2), Dylan Fagan, BIlly Brown and Luke Parrot overcame a Dwain Sharrier goal for the hosts.

Also on two wins for the season are Chingford Athletic who made it a brace of victories with a hard fought 1-0 win away at London Legacy in Loughton. The experienced Bradley Williams was the game's only scorer as he netted to hand the visitors all three points in the match.

Valence United Reserves make up the remainder of the six-point club as they themselves had a battle on their hands, eventually prevailing by the odd goal in five as two Enzo Victoriano goals plus a Ayomide Ibuola effort handed them a 3-2 win over Mayfield Kings. Kiz Myaz and Qasim Ali were both Kings scorers in response.

There was a first win in the league for Barking Colts who made the trip to Dagenham to take on Titans United, both sides winless so far in their campaigns. But a brace of doubles from Tommy Carter-Hamilton and Emmanuel Fowowe handed Colts the points on the day, a result which saw them move up into eighth spot, level with five other clubs. 

Another club on three points are Epping Royals who turned things around from their opening defeat, beating Brymans Park in a nine-goal thriller at Stonards Hill. Fraser McCarthy scored a hat-trick Teddy Joyce and Joseph Bothwell netting the others while Luke Broomfield's brace and goals from Shane Taylor and Grant Eagle accounted for the Park goals.

DIVISION SEVEN

In Division Seven, Warren United have turned te tables on their head from last season, now sitting top of the standings after an excellent start to the new season, defeating Gatcliffe in Dagenham on Sunday with a hat-trick from Oliver Regan to go with goals from Ardit Saba and Zain Kokab. That keeps Warren unbeaten in the division while the hosts seek their first points.

Ridgeway Rovers ensured their perfect start continued as their opening home game yielded them a 6-0 victory against Royal Lions C at Peter May. Harley Hillman scored a half of their goals with a hat-trick performance, Reece Boultwood scored twice and Regan Marshall once to complete a second win.

Sitting in fourth spot are Debden Sports A who got the better of their local rivals, Colebrook Royals A, to end their unbeaten start to the season, Sports walking away 4-2 victors at Chigwell Lane. George Marlborough and Oliver West were both on the Royals scoresheet but those goals proved just consolation by full-time.

There was a second league win of the season for Emerson & Upminster who got responded well to last week's reverse by edging the game this week, beating Epping Forest Falcons in a 2-1 scoreline to move fifth in the table. Lewis Robinson and Archie Larkin scored the all-important goals for the hosts.

Ping City Phoenixes certainly found their scoring boots at the weekend, producing a comprehensive 11-2 win at home against Zone 4 Athletic with Ezra Waterman flowing in with a six-goal performance. Luey Young also scored two, Dan Arnot and Sean Jordan the others while Craig Janes and Aaron Miremnbe responded for Zone with their efforts,

PLUMPSTEAD CUP

AC Milano started their Plumpstead Challenge Cup quest with first round action on the road at Fleetdown United. And with the game ending ina  1-1 draw during normal time, a shootout was needed to determine the winner with AC prevailing on spotkicks to make the second round.
