The final game of the League Cup competition came to a close with a crucial fixture in Group D where Abridge Village went into their final fixture against AC Milano knowing that nothing but victory would do. And Abridge were out of the blocks at great speed with three very early goals to set them on the way to an eventual 9-0 scoreline. Tosin Olodo and Jake Clarke both scored twice with Perry Clarke, Reece Clarke, Aaron Gurney, Jerome Headon and Leon Adeyemi efforts finishing things off. Congratulations to Abridge Village on their achievement and to Roose also who finished as runners-up.
Following the conclusion of the League Cup, attentions now turn to the upcoming cup finals from the 2019/20 season as we round off these four remaining competitions at Mayesbrook Park over the coming fortnight.
