Cup finals are back this weekend as we kick-off the hectic period of the season with a triple header on Sunday at Aveley FC's Parkside stadium.

The morning fixture at 10.30am will see AC Milano contest their first cup final with the league as they take on Theydon Green, a finals debutant of their own, in the Division One Cup. The two sides are both contesting promotion in the league, with Green also soon to represent the league in a county cup final also, all of which points towards a very competitive final this Sunday in front of the fans.

The early afternoon fixture at 2pm will see the Division Three Cup competition reach it's conclusion with two of the division's silverware contenders meeting in this showpiece final as Higham Hill take on Upshire Forest. Higham are new to the league this season and have had a positive first campaign while Upshire Forest are now regular contenders for honours and will be eager to convert that success into trophies.

We round off the opening day of finals with the weekend's late kick-off at 5.30pm with two further cup final debutants as Mansfield Rangers and Royal Lions C, the top two sides in their division presently, compete for the inaugural Division Six Cup. It's been a great turnaround season for Mansfield after a difficult first season, sitting top of the table presently. While Royal Lions's performances have pointed to future successes and they will want that to start on Sunday.

Gates will open at 9.30am on Sunday for spectators with a range of food and drink facilities available at Parkside for those visiting us.

We look forwarding to welcoming each of the clubs, our match officials and friends/family to the games on Sunday on what should be a terrific occasion for all involved.
