The draws for the Essex County FA cup competitions have now been released and we are pleased to bring you a rundown of who our 19 Corinthian sides involved will be facing this season.

Essex Sunday Premier Cup

In the Essex Sunday Premier Cup, Premier Division side Repton Park will travel the short distance up the A12 to visit Brentwood Sunday League side, Great Lion, in the Preliminary Round on 18th September. The winner of that clash will be on the road again the week after with a trip to Essex Sunday Combination League Senior Division side, Ilford Reserves, in Round 1 Proper.

New Corinthian side, Quality Control, will be heading up the M11 in Round 1 to face Pools Athletic who hail from the Harlow & District Football League Premier Division.

Fellow Corinthian newcomers, Upshire, who were quarter finalists in the competition last season, have a home tie against former Corinthian side - Eva Hart Rangers – making their debut in the competition this year.

Division 1 champions, Flanders, who make their debut in this competition, have a home tie in Round 1 as they host Southend Sunday League side, Rochford Sports & Social, at the Bobby Moore Pavillion.

Completing the lineup, Liberty Stars, will travel up the A12 to take on Boreham who hail from the Pope & Smith Chelmsford Sunday League.

Essex Sunday Junior Cup

In the Essex Junior Cup, Corinthian newcomers, Korona Redbridge, host Brentwood Sunday League Division 2 side Barn Sports in Round 1 of the competition.

Valentines United are also at home in Round 1 where they will be visited by Essex Sunday Football Combination side, Carrington, for a place in the second round.

Rounding up the 1st round action is an all-Corinthian tie which sees Division 2 champions, Dagenham United visited by St Augustines.

Two sides have received byes straight to Round 2 where FC Mexico will be at home in another all-Corinthian clash, taking on Dagenham United or St Augustines.

New side, Docklands Albion, make their debut in the competition with a bye to Round 2 and a very short trip across Walthamstow to take on JG Chingford who are based in the Essex Sunday Football Combination.

Essex Sunday Junior Trophy

Opening our Essex Junior Trophy coverage are new Corinthian League side, Upshire Reserves, who will take on Chelmsford Sunday League based Great Baddow in Round 1 of the competition.

Joining them in the Round 1 draw are Goresbrook who have a home draw against Waltham Forest Reserves of the Barnet Sunday League in the opening round.

Morfdown Elect have a short trip across the borough to face Barking Colts Reserves in Round 1 who hail from the Essex Sunday Football Combination Division 4.

Five sides have received byes through to Round 2 with a pair of all-Corinthian ties cropping up in the draw. A battle of two of our new sides sees Grey Area take on Barking & Dagenham Wanderers with a last 32 place at stake for the winners.

In another all-Corinthian match up, Lonsdale will take on fellow Corinthian side, Barking Sunday, in Round 2.

Completing the lineup, league debutants, Hornchurch Oakmont, will host Essex Sunday Football Combination side Custom House Community with an eye on the 3rd round for the winners.
