Essex County FA cup draws released

The draws for the Essex County FA cup draws involving Corinthian sides have now been released and we provide a preview of those ties below.

ESSEX SUNDAY PREMIER CUP

There are five of our clubs involved in the opening round of top competition in the county with East London Old Boys making a long trip in the opening round with a journey to Braintree to face CFC Shalford. Not wishing to be outdone in the travel stakes, it will also be an early start for Romford Elite who head up the A12 to face Colchester-based Romania Athletic in round 1. Ultimate Vision will be at home in their debut tie in the competition with Braintree-based visitors Bocking Social heading south to face them while Flanders will tackle Thurrock League side Legends.

Repton Park have a bye through to the second round and will tackle an early morning start with the longest of long trips with an away tie against Vikings Flag up in Clacton!

ESSEX SUNDAY JUNIOR CUP

In the first round of the Junior Cup, Dagenham United's opponents will be Thurrock League side Stifford Social Club. The other first round tie involving our sides will see FC Mexico heading to Newbury Park to take on Oaklands of the Brentwood Sunday League.

Four of our clubs have byes into the second round where an all-Corinthian match-up sees Barking & Dagenham Wanderers take on Valentines United at Fords. Korona Redbridge have an away tie in their first match as they go to Thurrock-based Jack's Lads with Upshire, winners of the Junior Trophy last year, progressing up to the "Cup" and heading to Harlow side Brays Athletic.

ESSEX SUNDAY JUNIOR TROPHY

There is plenty of action involving Corinthian clubs in the Junior Trophy where Royal Albert make the trip to Loxford Lions in round one. Hornchurch Oakmont are also on the road with a journey to face Real Sporting while Epping Forest Falcons have a home tie and will welcome Harchester Ducks to Ashton Playing Fields. In an all-Corinthian tie, Division 2 rivals Barking and Goresbrook will go head-to-head in a local derby match.

In the second round, Custom House Community get a bye and will face the winners of Loxford Lions and Royal Albert in October. Masterman will be at home to winners of the Blackshots and CFC Rainham tie while Grey Area await the winners of Real Sporting and Hornchurch Oakmont. Dagenham United Reserves will be taking on Combination side Recreativo Romford in the second round while Morfdown Elect see the visit of Beckton United to Dagenham. Completing the action, Roneo Colts have a bye to round two and will face the winner of the tie between Barking and Goresbrook for a place in round three.
