This Sunday sees more cup final action in the Corinthian League as we end this season's divisional cup finals with the conclusion of the Senior Cup Final between Hatch Lane and Flyhouse Athletic, down at Aveley FC kicking off at 2pm.

For Hatch Lane, they have already made it at least a double winning season having picked up the league title in fine fashion and followed that up with last weekend's epic comeback London Cup triumph in Haringey, a second half performance in that game which will live long in the memories. They will be, I'm very sure, confident and eager to add to their ever increasing trophy haul on Sunday afternoon. Having qualified through the group stage of the competition, they were emphatic quarter final victors in their tie at Secret (W5-1), setting up a semi final away at East Way Athletic, winning that game 3-0 to confirm their place in the final!

Flyhouse Athletic will be the team standing in the way of their opponents and they are on a great run in this competition despite being a division lower this season having finished second in the Premier Division. As well as their run in this competition, they were also semi-finalists in the Corinthian Cup to cap a solid season in the league. They qualified second in their group to make the knock out stages where they saw off their rivals Brook Athletic in the quarter finals, winning 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. In the semi-finals, they faced one of the top flight's established sides, El Valiente, and put in a terrific performance to win 4-1, confirming their place at Parkside!

We look forward to welcoming both clubs, the spectators and, of course, our match officials to Sunday's final, the penultimate weekend of cup final action.
