Help and tips to avoid unnecessary fines

I have just been going through all the charges that the league web site has given us and I am sure that a lot could be avoided. I know my team cannot afford fines so I do my best to prevent this happening.
Referees and Opposition
I try ringing referees and opposition Sunday or Monday morning at
latest, If I get no answer I always leave a message and then ring back
later. I never text as I know from personal experience that they
sometimes go astray its no good proving that you sent it that is no guarantee
that it arrived. Confirm where your ground is, where is best to park,
check on colour clash. If you do not have a referee until after Tuesday or
the referee is changed the web site will still show late contact just send in
an appeal when you get the charge notice stating the facts its no slight on
yourself.
Team sheets
I know its difficult getting them filled out when players turn up
late, but if players are arriving late just put their names down there is space
for 5 substitutes so fill them out then you are covered they do not have to be
there at the start of the match. Give the team sheets out to referee and
opposition if an unexpected player arrives after you have given out your team
sheet speak with your referee and opposition and ask if you can add a name most
referees and teams are sensible about it.
Late kick offs
Only you are in charge of getting the pitch and your team ready for the start of the game no one else to blame.
Nets, corner flags, match balls and first aid kit they are all in
your control
Good luck for the rest of the season, lets hope there are no more
fines.
