New club applications being accepted

It may only be February still and it may feel there is still a long part of the season still to go (and you're probably right!) but it is time to start preparations for next season.

Existing clubs will soon be receiving membership continuation forms for next season which will be distributed by Terry Wicks in time for the March council meeting on Wednesday 5th March at 7.30pm.

Along with this, we are inviting prospective new clubs to submit their applications, or at least an expression of interest, with a view to interviews taking place during April and May. In order to promote this, we will continue to advertise for clubs through social media which seems to a brilliant way of hitting vast amounts of people (or going 'viral') very quickly.

We will also be embarking on a more traditional paper-based advertising route with a number of posters being produced and placed in positions likely to draw some interest. If you have any suggestions of where we could place these posters or would even be interesting placing one somewhere yourself, please do get in touch and we can provide you with a poster.

On a similar theme, the league has now established a mailing list which will be used to send email bulletins drawn directly from the website news feed and will more than likely replace many of the "catch-all" emails which are sent from the committee over the season. Please do get yourself added to the list!
