Park Tavern are Spring Cup Champions

Congratulations to Park Tavern who secured a cup double yesterday in beating Napier in the Spring Cup Final.
After a terrific game which saw both sides have plenty of goal scoring opportunities, the game hinged on a fantastic strike early in the second half. Napier didn't give in however and had chances of their own as well as some fantastic defending to restrict their opponents.
A late second goal on the break for Park Tavern was enough to confirm a 2-0 win and lift the winner's shield. A great debut season for Tavern!
