Good afternoon gentlemen,

As some teams will have noticed I have had a few referees become unavailable for one reason or another and with county cups coming up to which county always take my referees with not thinking on how detrimental it is to our league.

If the situation arises and I have no referee for your fixture please talk with your opposition and between us we can come up with an official to cover.

To give you an example a referee called off this Wednesday and I have rung some 56 referees in the Essex handbook to no avail .

Where the competition has been unable to appoint a Referee, the clubs shall agree upon a Referee. A Referee thus agreed shall, for that game, have the full powers, status and authority of a registered Referee.
