CORINTHIAN CUP

Just three fixtures survived the freezing conditions on Sunday morning with the Corinthian Cup third round tie between AC Milano and Cloud 9 proceeding at Noak Hill. With the sides going into the game closely matched in the league table, it took a Melanijus Butkus hat-trick to seperate the teams on the day, his goals seeing AC over the line into the quarter finals with a 3-1 win.

DIVISION TWO

In the day's only league fixture that survived the elements, that game took place in Division Two and saw hosts Higham Hill visited by the current league leaders, Barking & Dagenham Wanderers. Hill trailed their opponents by over twenty points going into the game so what the bookies didn't see coming was a victory for the hosts who produced a 2-0 winning performance to move up to eighth in the standings.

COUNTY CUP

In the Essex Sunday Junior Trophy, City Site are safely through into the hat for round four as they overcame a tricky opposition in the form of Thurrock League side Ockendon Manor Reserves at Robert Clack. Despite going behind early, City were able to run out victorious in the end, overcoming tough conditions to win the tie 5-3.
