SENIOR DIVISION CUP
The final action of the calendar year saw both AC Milano and Hatch Lane make their bow in this season’s Senior Cup competition and it was Milano who continued their excellent form, earning all three points in a 3-1 win as Fahad Nyanja, David Alele and Abdul Rajab all struck to push their side up the standings.
CHARITY CUP
In the West Essex Sunday Charity Cup, the final first round action saw East London Ballers with a home clash against Division One’s Critics at Parsloes Park with both sides eyeing up the quarter finals. Critics netted early on only for Ballers to level shortly after, the match eventually finishing locked at 1-1. A shootout was therefore needed and it was East London Ballers who won that 4-3 to head into the last eight.
