DIVISION FOUR CUP

A near total wipeout of fixtures led to just three matches taking place over the weekend all of which were in the Division Four Cup.

Goresbrook were the biggest winners of the day in Group B where they recorded their first victory of the competition, securing an 11-1 win over Epping Forest Falcons. Charlie Barratt led the way with a four goal performance while William Cox was on hand with a hat-trick himself. Further goals from Samuel Berry, Ricky Cripps, Jake McGregor and Liam Coney completed the scoring.

SL Menfica leave Group B interestingly poised as they recorded a large victory, seeing off Hornchurch Oakmont in a 9-0 victory. Jake Muller scored a hat-trick with braces from Charlie Parish and Jordan Clark accompanying further goals from Flynn Linard and Richard Beard onto the scoresheet.

A Central Colts victory in Group A, their second of the competition, has virtually sealed their place in the semi-finals after beating local rivals Heathside 2-1 in Dagenham. A goal for each of Kelvin Malcolm and the in-form Tunde Olagunju were just enough to edge a close encounter and move top of the group.
