SENIOR DIVISION

Things remain tight at the top of the table in the Senior Division where Brook Athletic lead on goals scored after Sunday’s narrow 1-0 home win over Baiteze Squad which saw Shomari Barnwell net the game’s only goal against his former teammates

AC Milano are also part of the three team pack on six points and got there after a solid away victory on Sunday after defeating Yeni Bogazici in a 3-0 scoreline in Chigwell, courtesy of goals from Jasan Pauline, Uzair Patel and Pharrell Mensah.

Over at Parsloes Park, derby day pitted Hatch Lane against East London Ballers as those sides strove for three points. But Chaka Barnett’s double helped Ballers into a lead before Hatch got one back and missed further chances, Ibra Sekajja’s netting a Ballers third to win it 3-1 for them.

DIVISION ONE

There was a big win for FC Galaxy on Sunday as Mihai Marenciuc’s hat-trick led them to a big 5-1 away win over AC Milano Reserves in Newbury Park. Mihalache Dumitru and Alexandru Saru scored the others in Galaxy’s first win of the new season.

Repton Park have made a strong start to the season and sit top with three successive wins to their name, this week’s efforts seeing them beat Upshire Forest in a 3-1 scoreline, helped by Jayden Ambrose’s hat-trick – Leighton Hughes-Franklin netting for Forest in reply.

JK Silvertown’s first outing in the league was a successful one, racking up a solid away win against Critics, 2-0 the final scoreline in the game at Old Parks. Joel Stichbury and Gosling Jenkins scored the crucial goals to make it a winning start.

Remaining unbeaten so far are St Augustines who added a win to their opening draw with a 4-2 away success over Daglanta. Andy Morris and Oskar Plusa scored for the hosts but a Saints brace from Ethelbert Thomas and one each from Taylah Cunningham and Callum Daniels proved enough.

DIVISION TWO

The big game in Division Two saw the top two meet in Beckton on Sunday where East London Ballers Reserves came out on top in a narrow 2-1 win over Barking & Dagenham Wanderers. Francesco Iheanyiogu scored for Wanderers but Junior Milla’s brace turned it around for a Ballers win.

That result allowed Warren Senior to progress up into second spot on six points as they recorded a 4-2 home victory over Benchviews at Westlands. Pacey Breshani scored two, Frankie Boland and Nathan Elgie adding the others.

It’s two wins from two for Singh Sabha Barking who are also part of the six-point club, their second win seeing them overcome an Endurance Athletics side by the odd goal in a 2-1 victory. Samraj Gill and Dylan Boparai scored the goals, rendering Jeffery Appiah’s effort as just consolation.

That same scoreline was reflected in the division’s other contest where a close game between Colebrook Royals Reserves and CSM London saw the latter end 2-1 winners, Steven Lambert scoring both goals while Harley Lewis scored for Royals in reply.

DIVISION THREE

There are five sides on six points in Division Three beginning with leaders South Ilford Catholics who put their second win on the board with a 6-1 away success, returning home with the points following victory over Condor Reserves.

Also with two wins from two are Byron Red Star who added another win to their record following a 3-1 home success over Turkmenkoy London at Hylands Park as Lloyd-Reghan Ugorji, Oluwagbeminiyi Adeaga and Sion Daley all struck, overcoming Mitchell Smith’s goal for the visitors.

There was a second win also for Romford Town Flyers who made it two in three so far, this time winning away from home with a 5-0 success against Euro Stars at Wanstead Flats. Lloyd Ross scored two, Patrick Kizito, Clinton Oduku and Bubacarr Touray also on the scoresheet.

It was a winning morning for Manford Way who bounced back from their opening defeat to earn all three points this time around, Ronan McGoldrick scoring the game’s only goal of a tight contest against Stone Town, 1-0 the final scoreline.

Debden Sports Reserves secured an important win also as they made it two in three with a 5-2 home victory over Old Esthameians Under 23s. Olawale Kareem scored twice but Sports goals from Luke Coppen, Elliot Betts, Gabriel Murray, Thomas Ruiz and Edwards Bines proved too much.

DIVISION FOUR

Valence United A sit two points clear at the top, taking home all three points as they defeated Cardinals Athletic on Sunday. Daniel Acquaye’s form continued for Cardinals with their goal but two from Charlie Surridge, plus goals from Ashley Collins and Kamal Mahoney, saw Valence win it 4-1.

The biggest winners of the day were East Park Rovers who produced a big 8-1 victory over East London Spartans. George Burton’s hat-trick led the way, Joshua Fagbohun netting two, Daniel Banerjee, Reece Hewitt and Emmanual Alaba also netting while Leonardo Almeida scored for Spartans in reply.

Sitting in second place May & Baker EC who made it two wins and a draw from three with a comfortable looking 4-0 home success over Eastern Avenue. Deondre Ashun, Alex Paraskeva, Callum Ferris and Kasey Taylor all netted in the win.

Colebrook Royals A are up into third place as they recorded a second win with a strong home performance, beating Royal Lions in a 5-1 scoreline. George Marlborough scored twice with Jake Austin, OIiver West and Wilfred Sills adding the others.

DIVISION FIVE

It’s been a strong start for Newbury Drive who sit second with a pair of opening wins following their result at the weekend, a 5-2 home success at home against May & Baker EC Reserves in Hainault. Graham Bryan scored a hat-trick off the bench with Luke Newbury-Neale and Billy Happe also notching.

Athletic Newham have won two from their first three, their most recent of which coming in a 4-2 away victory as they took on Alpha at Wanstead Flats. Karl Brolly rained in with a couple of goals, adding to efforts from Jamie Brandon and Sam Owen.

Also scoring four were Mansfield Rangers who put in by far their best performance so far with a 4-0 away success over London Legacy at Parsloes Park. James Scott, Heritier Lomena, Jordan Brown and Jay Kanber were all on the scoresheet to put the points on the board,

It was a similar story for Young Royals who earned their first win and remain unbeaten following the weekend’s winning performance, beating United Amateurs in a 5-0 scoreline. Naavinan Sritharan scored twice with Sujiven Jeyaratnam, Thuvaragesan Mohan and Kishanth Yogan all netting.

DIVISION SIX

It’s been a sparkling start for Legacy City as they top the table after three successive wins at the start of the season, their latest endeavours seeing them net a big 8-0 win away at Emerson & Upminster to move two points clear.

Promoted Gatcliffe are one of the sides sitting just behind the leaders and they recorded a second win in three on Sunday after a 3-0 victory over Newroe United in Hornchurch where Ben North, Dane Young and Devante Samuel goals proved enough.

Warren United remain unbeaten also with two wins to their name, edging their way out of a five-goal thriller following a 3-2 success at Coppice Row. Zain Kokab, Oliver Regan and Patrick Kalonda struck with the Warren goals while Jack Mulvenna and Matheus de Lima scored for Row.

Fourth placed Chingford Athletic now have two wins under their belts after returning home with a 5-2 away success against Lonsdale. Kalium Fletcher and Emanuel Ntoi netted for the hosts but Darryl Wilson’s brace plus goals from Serjan Culaj, Jahaj Aristogen and Kyle Marvis proved pivotal.

The division’s action concludes with a another 5-2 scoreline which came from Dagenham and saw Newbury Kings record victory in their contest against JK Silvertown Reserves. George Veness and Daniel Longland netted for JK but those proved just consolation in the end.

DIVISION SEVEN

Ace Athletics continued their strong start to the new season, defeating Zone 4 Athletic in a 4-2 scoreline at Redbridge Sports Centre. Aamish Ibrahim and Edilie Akpala struck for Zone but Ace won it through Charlie Land, Thomas Mason, Thomas Alexander and Jack McAllister goals.

There was a nine-goal thriller to round things off where Collier Row Under 23s edged their game against Rush Green Rangers in a 5-4 scoreline. Charlie Cook, Alfie George, Jake Teagle and Frankie Mowle scored for Row with Keaton Russell (2), Alfie Sasse and Louis Albon firing for Green.
