SENIOR DIVISION
In the Senior Division, East London Ballers secured a vital win to keep alive their hopes of a challenge for the title, defeating Brook Athletic in Newbury Park with Eric Koduah and David Sangolo goals making the difference in a 2-0 success.
DIVISION ONE
The sole Division One action of the weekend saw JK Silvertown host AC Milano Reserves in an east London derby fixture and it was the visitors leaving the happier, AC Milano ending comfortable 6-1 winners on the day.
DIVISION TWO
Goals were the order of the day in East London Ballers Reserves' final league fixture as they rattled sixteen past Endurance Athletics. Junior Milla scored seven, Mohammed Bhayat a hat-trick, braces from Ojukwu Chibueze and Oluwatayo Felstead, the others from Ronaldo Naddah, Husnain Ahmed and Anthony Obinkwo.
DIVISION THREE
The battle for the Division Three title will go to the wire after wins for both of the leading sides, beginning with a thumping 7-0 away success for Byron Red Star over South Ilford Catholics. Stefanos Ladoukakis' hat-trick led the way, Raphael Olu-Jide, Oluwagbeminiyi Adeaga, Gabriel Ogunmokun and Alfie Hales also on the scoresheet.
It was double header delight for Manford Way who sit three points off the leaders after a 1-0 and then a 3-2 success against Prospect Protege. Fred Bislen-Hall scored the first game's goal, adding another in game two alongside William Sandell and Mason Strevens efforts. Charlie Dillon struck for Prospect's goal in reply.
DIVISION FIVE
In Division Five, Newbury Drive have moved to within a point of securing the league title as they successfully navigated their home clash with Young Royals on Sunday, 2-0 winners through goals from Luey Young and Harry Rouse.
DIVISION SIX
The Division Six action saw a key battle go the way of Chingford Athletic who recorded the win they wanted in a 5-3 success against Gatcliffe to put them within touching distance of silverware. Darryl Wilson scored two, George Whalley, James Webster and Kimani McDonald with the other efforts.
