SENIOR DIVISION
East London Ballers secured four points from six in their double header with Yeni Bogazici on Sunday, winning 4-3 first up with Keanu Hill (2), Steven Carvell and Eric Koduah netting before a 3-3 draw second time around with Kristopher Oti, Jan Desai and Steven Carvell on the scoresheet.
DIVISION ONE
In Division One, the action came from Newbury Park where AC Milano Reserves were up against Upshire Forest in an important game for the title race. It was Milano leaving the happier on the day, 6-1 winners despite Louie Fehrenbach’s strike for the visitors.
DIVISION THREE
The Division Three title race will go to the final day following wins for the top two sides, Byron Red Star picking up a 4-1 home win against Condor Reserves through two Adrian John goals and one each from Alfie Hales and Jimmy Fordham-Reed.
Manford Way will need a victory by a two goal margin in the final fixture against Byron, following their penultimate performance of the season, a 3-0 win against Stone Town, with Archie Locke, Dylan Fagan and Lloyd Gullefer all striking.
DIVISION FIVE
Epping Town’s penultimate match of the season was an important one in the context of the title race as they beat Ping City Phoenixes 4-1 at Wadham Lodge with the goals coming from Louis Gossan, Albie Price, Matthew Robinson and Matthew Winter, a result which handed the title to Newbury Drive.
DIVISION SIX
In Division Six, Chingford Athletic went into their last match knowing that anything but a heavy defeat would see them crowned champions and a 5-1 win over Lonsdale was delivered, Darryl Wilson scoring two, James Webster, Michael Mignot and Bobby Deemer the others, confirming the title.
