CORINTHIAN CUP FINAL

The Corinthian Cup was played out last Wednesday evening with East London Ballers Reserves adding their name to the trophy after a cupset. Cole Edwards and Zakir Khan goals earned them a 2-1 win on the night, Mohamed Kidia netting AC Milano’s consolation in the closing stages as they attempted a comeback.

TROPHYLAND CUP FINAL

Attentions then turned to Sunday morning where Ping City Phoenixes were attempting a big cupset themselves and took a lead over Manford Way through Will Hunt’s header before Archie McKiernan’s fantastic leveller sent it to a shootout. But it was to be Ping’s day as they became the lowest ranked winners of the competition’s history.

ENDEAVOUR CUP FINAL

In blazing hot conditions, it was the turn of Ace Athletics and Valence United B on Sunday afternoon, each looking for a double. Jamie Wooster’s header gave Valence a lead before Jake James brought Ace level. But Robert Devlin’s late close range finish

DIVISION FIVE

In Division Five, Graham Bryan’s hat-trick set Newbury Drive on their way to a seventeenth league game unbeaten following a 5-2 win over Epping Town, Alfie Mobey and Henry Wood scoring the other goals at Stonards Hill.
