It ended all square at 2-2 over at Town Mead where AC Milano Reserves were the visitors to face Upshire Forest, ending the day as they started with a three point gap between the sides. Louie Fehrenbach and Charlie Newman scored the goals for Upshire.

DIVISION TWO

Barking & Dagenham Wanderers started the day six points clear of their opponents on Sunday, Benchviews, and that was the way it ended by full-time as the sides couldn’t be separated, 2-2 the final scoreline.

DIVISION THREE

Three sides sit locked on eighteen points at the top of Division Three where Manford Way lead by just a single goal, beating Old Esthameians Under 23s in a 5-0 scoreline through Jacob Richards’s hat-trick and a Lloyd Gullefer brace.

South Ilford Catholics are sitting second following their weekend’s efforts, overcoming Romford Town Flyers by a couple of goals in a 3-1 win at Mayfield Leisure Centre. Jorge Rodriguez had struck for Romford but that proved not quite enough in the end.

DIVISION SIX

The theme of goals continued into Division Six with Gatcliffe edging a seven-goal thriller 4-3 against Lonsdale, a couple of goals each from Codi Wackett and Owen Woodhouse proving just enough to render Emanuel Ntoi’s double and a Klalnti Chotza strike as consolation.

There were ten goals in the other game where Newbury Kings eventually wrapped up the 6-4 win in the game despite four goals from Newroe United, Shane Taylor doing his best with a hat-trick and Daniel Munroe netting the other, alas those proving not quite enough.

A local derby pitted Athletic Newham against fellow east London side JK Silvertown Reserves in their tie and despite the division gap, it was JK Silvertown leaving the happier of the sides in a 3-2 scoreline to earn their spot in the next round.

There was a win also for Mansfield Rangers who had to navigate an all-Corinthian clash against Division Seven side, Collier Row Under 23s, needing the odd goal in five to eventually prevail, 3-2 the final scoreline.

Another all-league clash came in a local derby as Newbury Drive and Warren United were involved in the battle of the hedge in Hainault, Newbury defeating their opponents from the other side in a narrow 3-2 scoreline.
