SENIOR DIVISION

London All Stars have closed the gap on the side at the top of the table to just three points as they picked up a very valuable point to end third placed Flyhouse Athletic's perfect start, the two sides sharing the points in a 1-1 draw. 

In the division's other contest, United Dian moved up a couple of places into seventh after they picked up a third league win with a 4-1 away victory against fourth placed El Valiente at Flanders Playing Fields, Akil Agyemang grabbing the hosts consolation goal.

DIVISION ONE

There were wins for both of the top two sides in Division One with Theydon Green remaining three points clear of the rest after running out 6-1 victors in their home game with Gants Hill. That was their tenth win in eleven this season, remaining unbeaten going into the second half of the season.

Trailing just behind the leaders are Roose who remain well in the title race entering the final eleven games, their latest success coming in a home clash with Benchviews over over at Fairlop Oak, winning the game 3-1.

Fourth placed Critics' recent form sees them sit just three points off third place, beating a Total Football side in a 6-2 scoreline. Dean Florence was the hero, scoring a hat-trick, Daniel Florence came off the bench to score two and Deyonte Anthony netted the other. Mahnu Bhabutta scored both Total goals in reply.

Another side producing a winning home performance on Sunday were FC Galaxy who entertained a St Augustines side over in Dagenham, Mihai Mareniuc and Pricop Murel both got on the scoresheet for Galaxy, helping them over the line to a 2-0 win and another crucial three points.

DIVISION TWO

In Division Two, perhaps the result of the day came at Mayesbrook Park where Barking's persistence finally paid off, producing their first winning performance of the season to beat Higham Hill. Charlie Saywood netted his customary goal for Hill but Justin Lopes and the wily Joe Blewitt both netted for the hosts to win the game 2-1.

The biggest winners of the day in the division were Debden Sports Reserves who rattled in eight without reply in beating Leytonstone Athletic 8-0 at the Rec. Callum Thomas' hat-trick led the way for Sports with Billy Barr (2), Charlie Harper, Will Osmond and George Bird goals completing the rout.

That result enabled Newbury Forest to climb a place into fifth as they took full advantage by beating an East London Harriers side in a 4-1 scoreline at Fairlop Oak. Lloyd Ross scored twice for the hosts with Harry Glenister and Daniel Ross also on the scoresheet to round off a good result.

The final game in the divison saw an entertaining six goal thriller as Abridge VIllage and Cloud 9 produced a bit of a goal-fest in a 3-3 draw. Leon Adeyemi might have hoped his hat-trick would be enough for a Village win but Cloud replies from Michael Rambukpitiya, Ryan Costello and Jake Griffin ensured they shared the spoils.

DIVISION THREE

Things really couldn't be much tighter in Division Three with four teams level on eighteen points, beginning with leaders Upshire Forest who were 5-1 winners on the road at the weekend, beating FC Mexico B in Barkingside. Jimmy Brooker and Mark Lawn both scored twice, Freddie Bose netting the other to render Alan Liddell's effort as just consolation.

With games in hand for those in the chasing pack, Colebrook Royals Vets will still be harbouring hopes of a title tilt and they took home a vital three points against rivals Singh Sabha Barking, winning 3-2 at The Grange through goals from Michael Farley, Joe Cole and Nedret Ozkasim.

United Amateurs could go top with wins in their games in hand, aided by their most recent success, a thrilling 5-4 victory against Korona Redbridge. Jack Chawner netted four to lead his side to the win, Johnny Gallagher grabbing the other. David Pietras, Mihail Cojocari and Jakub Stanosz struck the Redbridge goals in reply.

Ainslie's return to league action saw them keep themselves in touch with the sides above in the league, overcoming a four point deficit on Alpha to cut that to one, winning 4-1 at the Flats. Eric Kelly continued his goalscoring expolits with a hat-trick, Ryan Radley netting the other to render Bradley Williams' goal as consolation.

DIVISION FOUR

The big game in the division saw Warren Senior and City Site meet for the first time this season, producing seven goals between them. But it was Warren who scored the lion share, winning 5-2. Jamie Marsh, Frankie Boland, Ross McGlynn, Scott McGlynn and Carter Jordan netted the winning goals, Alex Paraskeva and James Cole on target with the CIty replies.

Leaders Belfry Reserves remain three points clear at the summit of the division and made it a perfect ten wins from ten games with a thumping 8-0 away success against Chingford Athletic at Town Mead. Luke MacDonald scored a hat-trick, Ryan O'Connell a brace, adding to further efforts from Patrick MacDonald, Daniel Abela and Jamie Redington.

Eastern Avenue took advantage of results around them to move level on points with third place, notching a seventh league win of the season with a 3-1 home success against Brymans Park. Arthur Graham scored for Park but Avenue goals from Cieran Lennon-Hunte and Boamah Kwakye saw their side home.

Over in Hornchurch, Byron Red Star were able to jump up a place into fifth, coming through a tough contest with Ace Athletics at Hylands Park with all three points in a 2-1 win. Alex Mason scored for the visitors but his effort proved in vain as Byron held on to take all three points.

Over in Hainault, Prospect Protege were in home action with Horse & Well, a game which proved a tight contest between two well matched side, Prospect overcoming a ten point deficit to take a point in a 2-2 draw. Ethan KNight and Ethan Kieran both scored for the hosts with Tom Ratican and Chris Marsh levelling for Well.

DIVISION FIVE

Colebrook Royals Reserves remain in pole position for the title in Division Five and cemented their position as favourites with a thumping 7-0 local derby win on Sunday against Debden Sports A. Djean Holland scored twice with Archie Shipp, Dylan Fagan, Harley Lewis, Phorell Brooke and Jamie Pearman also finding the net.

Second placed Royal Lions B are the closest side able to mount a challenge and they kept up pace for another week by coming out on top in their trip to Manford Way Reserves, beating Way 3-1 in Hainault. Daniel Moulden scored for the hosts but Royal goals from Tyler Adams-Sinclair, Subhan Asgher and Ryan Rawat earned the points.

Mansfield Rangers kept up their own chances of a promotion push as they took all three points home in their fixture against Ultimate Vision Reserves at Douglas Eyre. A 4-2 success was achieved through goals from Billy Happe (2), Claudius Edwards and Harley Hicks to keep the pressure on those above.

Lonsdale will have been very pleased with their morning's efforts, earning a crucial three points to move them closer to safety, beating Mayfield Kings 6-0 in Hainault. Kalium Fletcher's four goal haul led the way wth Charlie Owen scoring twice also to secure maximum points.

It was Dagenham derby day over at Old Dagenham Park where Titans United were the hosts to take on rivals Dagenham Rangers, the teams combining to produce a nine-goal thriller. But it will be Rangers who left the happiest of the two sides, winning the game 5-4 to stay third, their sixth win of the campaign.

DIVISION SIX

Young Royals moved level at the top of the table on goal difference following a seven goal thriller at home to Ping City Phoenixes. Andy Franklin, Daniel Arnot and Conor McNabb netted the Ping goals but Royal efforts from Panushanth Kulenthiran, Sanjeth Veerasingam, Raj Vijay and Saranth Veerasingam made it 4-3 to their side by full-time.

There was a big win for Zone 4 Athletic who put a spanner in the works for Royal Lions C's promotion push, scoring the only goal of a close game in a 1-0 win for Zone. Oswald Nyahunda was the man on target with that vital goal for the hosts, their fourth league success of the season as they moved up a place into eighth.

That result meant that Epping Royals had the chance to move clear in third place and they did just that with a solid 2-0 win against Epping Forest Falcons in the 'Epping' derby game. Joseph Bothwell and Asaph Lomena struck for the Royals to give them a seventh win from a decent season so far.

Completing the league action, it was a winning morning for Havering Palace who took home maximum points from their game against an in-form London Legacy, winning 3-1 through goals from Lewis Dawes, Bobby Emberson and Will Tracey. Vince Crosdale netted the Legacy goal in reply but his effort proved in vain.

COUNTY & NATIONAL CUP

In the day's rearranged FA Sunday Cup fourth round action, it was a tough day for Baiteze Squad who made the journey up to Leighton Buzzard to take on six time finalists St Josephs. A high quality game eventually went the way of the hosts who netted twice in the first half and held strong defensively to win 2-0 and end interest in the competition.

It was a fabulous day for the league in the Essex Sunday Premier Cup, results guranteeing us a finalist this year. Barking Riverside produced perhaps the biggest cupset of the day, now the lowest ranked side in the competition defeating Sungate in a 1-0 win in Hainault to head into the quarter-finals.

Hatch Lane also put their name into the hat for the last eight as they came through unscathed against Southend based side Prittlewell over in Loughton, winning 3-1 to set up a mouth-watering quarter final against Baiteze Squad.

Joining them in the last eight will also be East Way Athletic who made the long journey down to Leigh United on Sunday and returned home very happy, edging the game in a 2-1 scoreline to book their place in the last eight.

And they will now face fellow top flight side Brook Athletic after they came through an eight goal contest against Division One side Oceana, the match ending in a 5-2 scoreline in Newbury Park, completing one side of the draw with all Corinthian sides.

There was a tough draw for Manford Way in the fourth round as they took on a highly rated Rouge 21 side on Sunday, the Harlow based side eventually prevailing in a 3-0 win to end Manford interests in the competition.

In the Essex Sunday Junior Trophy, it was another great away day for Valence United who's love for the competition goes on for another week at least after they came away winners against an unbeaten Stanham Rangers side, winning the game 7-4 to make the quarter finals, setting up a tie against Danbury Athletic.

The first round action was finally completed in the West Essex Sunday Charity Cup as AC Milano booked their place in round two with a 2-0 winning performance at home against Division Two rivals Barking & Dagenham Wanderers. They now head on to face Alpha in the net round.
