DIVISION TWO

Back in the league, it was visitors Singh Sabha Barking who left with all three points from their trip to CSM London as goals from Indervir Singh, Samraj Gill, Dylan Boparai and Opeyemi Mogaji helped them win 4-2, despite CSM strikes from Steven Lambert and Leandro Alva.

DIVISION THREE

The biggest winners in Division Three were Euro Stars as they made the journey across to Dagenham to take on Condor Reserves, netting all five goals in a 5-0 Stars win courtesy of an Abbas Osman hat-trick and Hayden Bokanga’s double.

Leaders, Turkmenkoy London, remain top but saw their lead cut following an entertaining 4-4 draw at home against Prospect Protégé. Suat Erdogan scored two, Deren Kale and Mitchell Smith with the others for the hosts while Tom Enever scored two, Joe Ellis and Ethan Kieran one in reply.

That result enabled Byron Red Star to profit and they reduced the deficit at the top to just three points with games in hand on the back of their 2-0 home victory over Stone Town, that being Byron’s eighth league win in nine this term.

Over at Chigwell Lane, Debden Sports Reserves put in a much improved performance to take all three points at home against South Ilford Catholics with Jack Sawdon and Zachariah Appauh goals leading them to a 2-1 success.

A five-goal thriller was settled by the odd goal at Hainault Rec where Royal Lions slipped to defeat at home against Eastern Avenue, a 3-2 win for the visitors enough to record a first league win and move level with their opponents in the standings.

DIVISION FIVE

Newbury Drive were in fine form in front of goal, scoring seven in an eventual 7-1 home win over Mansfield Rangers. Drive overcame Jay Kanber’s strike with two Graham Bryan goals plus efforts from Claudius Edwards, Paul Schouwenburg, Billy Happe, Luke Newbury-Neale and Harrison Wright.

There was a seven-goal thriller in the east London derby match between hosts Asianos and Alpha where it took the odd goal to eventually separate the teams, Alpha winning the match 4-3 to ensure they stayed top of the table with an eighth win.

Over at Hainault Rec, London Legacy started the day trailing their hosts, United Amateurs, by three points but ended it level as Mohammed Noor’s double and one from Ewan Cochrane earned them a 3-1 win, rendering Jack Chawner’s strike as consolation.
