SENIOR DIVISION CUP

Baiteze Squad lead the way in the group stage of the Senior Cup as they racked up another win following a 5-1 home success against Yeni Bogazici. Jibril Mahdi and Hussein Mahdi both scored twice with Jordy Mumbiny adding the other.

It was also a goal laden fixture in the other tie from Newbury Park where AC Milano put six goals away to record a 6-3 derby win over Brook Athletic. Aaron Harriott scored two, Marcel McIntosh, Jorge Sambu, Umaru Kabia and Zaeem Husein adding the gloss while Shomari Barnwell, Jayden Hocking-Rising and Dion Lewis-Kirwan scored for Brook.

DIVISION ONE CUP

It was quarter-final day for four sides in the Division One Cup, beginning at Newbury Park where JK Silvertown sent themselves through to the last four following a 2-1 win over AC Milano Reserves with Mehki Clarke and Shane Wallace goals proving the difference between the sides.

Over at Castle Green, another side into the hat for the semi-finals are FC Galaxy after their last eight tie with Woodford Town ended 4-2 in the hosts’ favour. Brandon Fulton and Ben Smith goals were countered by two Andrei Cazacu strikes and one each from Mihalache Dumitru and Mihai Mareniuc.

DIVISION TWO CUP

There was quarter-final action in the Division Two Cup also where Singh Sabha Barking’s late winner saw them edge through, winning 3-2 against East London Ballers Reserves. James Folkes, Dylan Boparai and Jag Rathore all struck with Mohammed Bhayat and Oluwaseyi Ijiwole netting for Ballers.

DIVISION TWO

Back in the league, it was derby day in the clash between co-tenants Endurance Athletics and Northbrooks where the hosts prevailed with a comfortable 7-2 win, moving them further away from any imminent danger.

Late goals proved the difference in the other fixture from the division where Warren Senior struck late on to win 5-3 against CSM London with goals contributions from Bobby Breen, Anthony Cooke, Jack Glenister, Nathan Elgie and Scott McGlynn.

DIVISION THREE CUP

At Westlands, there was some exhilarating last eight cup action in the game between Romford Town Flyers and Stone Town, the latter eventually prevailing by the odd goal in a 5-4 win despite Romford goals from Harry Hinds, Clinton Oduku, Bubacarr Touray and Harry Glenister.

DIVISION THREE

There were wins for all of the top sides in the league where Turkmenkoy moved three points clear on the back of a big 8-1 win over Euro Stars. Jo Magege, Deren Kale and Mehdi Hamza all scored braces, Suat Erdogan and Huseyin Top notching the others on the way to victory.

Third placed Prospect Protégé kept in touch with the matters above them as they picked up a 4-0 home win in their game with Condor Reserves as Archie Kieran scored two and other goals arrived from Charlie Dillon and Tommy Burke.

That same scoreline was reflected just across the lane in Hainault where Manford Way were also 4-0 victors, Jacob Richards the difference between the sides with his hat-trick paving the way for a win over South Ilford Catholics, Fred Brislen-Hall adding the other goal.

DIVISION FOUR CUP

In the quarter-final of the Division Four Cup, there was success for Colebrook Royals A who made their way through into the semi-finals with a 4-1 win over Royal Lions after James Deaney had scored two, Lenny Hunt and Jonathan Lomotey the others.

DIVISION FOUR

It was another solid performance from East End United who took all three points from their home clash with East London Ballers Under 23s courtesy of goals from Jevonte Cassar, Mike Elsmore, Ryan Mallett and Loui Grech to win it 4-1. Jan Desai scored the Ballers goal in reply.

The other all “East” game from the division needed the odd goal to separate the sides as East Park Rovers edged their contest 2-1 with East London Spartans through Ryan Lewis and Aderemi Aderogba goals, Michael Taylor scoring the Spartans’ consolation effort.

DIVISION FIVE CUP

A five-goal thriller was produced in the Division Five Cup as Mansfield Rangers prevailed by the odd goal in a 3-2 win over United Amateurs. Rondell Offei-Kumi’s brace for United kept them involved but Kemston Allen, Heritier Lomena and Presley Evans efforts meant it was Rangers leaving victorious.

DIVISION FIVE

The sole league action from the division went the way of the hosts as Athletic Newham took all three points in hard fought 2-1 win over London Legacy, overcoming Mohamed Noor’s goal with strikes from Esley Liwala and Jack Field.

DIVISION SIX CUP

In the last eight of the Division Six Cup, it was JK Silvertown Reserves who eventually prevailed in a hard fought game with Gatcliffe, winning 4-2 after two Steven Starkey goals and one each from Jamie Redington and Bobby Rusbridge.

DIVISION SIX

That same scoreline was witnessed back in the league where Valence United B produced a 4-2 winning performance against Newbury Kings after two goals from Jahsiah Weekes off the bench and strikes from Reece Stanley and Kamal Mahoney.

DIVISION SEVEN CUP

It was an emphatic victory for Collier Row Under 23s in the Division Seven Cup, netting eight without reply against United Amateurs Reserves. Ernest Peka scored a hat-trick, Charlie Cook, Bobby Davis, Charlie Gander, Oliver Bourne and Chris Kipoy adding the gloss on an 8-0 win.

They will be joined in the semi-finals by Zone 4 Athletic who won through from a tight contest with Highams Park Rangers, the all important goals arriving from Ryan Richardson and Luke Caston to hand Zone a 2-1 win.

COUNTY CUP

In the Essex Sunday Junior Cup, Colebrook Royals Reserves took an early lead against Great Baddow but a red card put them on the back foot and Baddow took control, winning the tie 5-2 at Grange Farm to head into the semi-finals

CHARITY CUP

East London Ballers, finalists in the West Essex Cup last year, made safe passage through into the semi-finals of the competition after a solid 7-1 home win over Division Two side Barking & Dagenham Wanderers.

Last season’s finalists in the West Essex Sunday Charity Trophy, Byron Red Star, are safely through into the semi-finals of the competition once again as they overcame Cardinals Athletic in Dagenham in a 5-2 scoreline.

A close game in Hainault saw a single goal separate the teams in the clash between Legacy City and Alpha, the higher ranked visitors the scorers of that one goal, Alpha ending 1-0 winners and through into the semi-finals themselves.
