TROPHYLAND CUP
There was a big cupset in the Trophyland Cup where Division Five’s Ping City Phoenixes overcame a two division deficit against Prospect Protégé to take their place in the semi finals, winning 2-0 after a goal each from Jack Flood and Phil Herman.
ENDEAVOUR CUP
An all-Division Six clash in the last eight of the Endeavour Cup saw Warren United return to winning ways, eventually seeing off Lonsdale in a 4-2 scoreline with Rhys Clements, Mason Noble, Aidan Butler and Oliver Regan goals enough to render Klalnti Chotza and Denis Davti efforts as consolation.
DIVISION ONE CUP
An enthralling Division One Cup clash saw Upshire Forest recover from two goals down, Thomas House and Will Osmond netting for Repton Park, as Liam Adams and Costi-Marian Varsoi levelled it up at 2-2 by the end. A lengthy shootout was eventually won 5-4 by Upshire who move into the last four.
DIVISION ONE
There was some symmetry about the two results in the league as JK Silvertown earned the spoils on the back of a 2-0 home win over Woodford Town where Gravlyn-Boss Kitondo and Aeli Agha were both on the scoresheet.
And that result was reflected in the other clash from Newbury Park where AC Milano Reserves won derby day in their match-up with St Augustines, 2-0 the final score there too, a result which was enough to see Milano move up into fourth.
DIVISION TWO
There were seven goals in the game from Northbrooks where Endurance Athletics were defeated at home by fellow mid-table side, Barking & Dagenham Wanderers, the latter walking away with a 5-2 win to take back down the M11 with them.
It was a close affair in the division’s other contest where Warren Senior met up with Colebrook Royals Reserves, the sides unable to be separated as the game ended locked at 1-1, Jack Glenister with the Warren effort to his name.
DIVISION THREE
There were plenty of goals in Division Three, beginning in Dagenham where Turkmenkoy London eventually prevailed from an eight goal thriller with Condor, winning 5-3 after two Mitchell Smith goals and one each from Teddy Taylor, Brookly Marku and Alvaro Brahilika.
Manford Way were in action at home and kept up their title challenge with a solid win, defeating Romford Town Flyers by a couple of goals in a 3-1 success. Clinton Oduko scored for Flyers but Fred Brislen-Hall, Ollie Scott and Joe Marjason goals saw it end it in Manford’s favour.
Debden Sports Reserves edged a five-goal thriller in the other game, notching the odd goal in five in a 3-2 win away at South Ilford Catholics. Henry Sewell, Jack Sawdon and Zachariah Appauh all found the back of the net in the win.
DIVISION FOUR CUP
A terrific game saw East London Ballers Under 23s hold off an almighty comeback from East End United after Mohammed Malik’s double and a Nasim Moussaoui effort had put Ballers well ahead but United levelled it late on at 3-3 with Jevonte Cassar, Ryan Mallett and Sonny Davie all netting. But it was Ballers winning the shootout 7-6 to head into the final.
DIVISION FOUR
East Park Rovers put a real spanner in the works for the league title race on Sunday as they produced one of their best performances of the season in defeating leaders, May & Baker EC, 4-2 to move second in the table themselves, despite a couple of Alex Paraskeva goals.
Colebrook Royals A also leapt up the table into third spot following their big home win against Cardinals Athletic, rendering Jack Cunningham’s goal as just consolation in a 5-1 success in Chigwell, their seventh win of the season.
DIVISION FIVE CUP
Division Five title chasers, Newbury Drive, produced a big win in the cup to send themselves through to the semi-final, beating Epping Town in a 7-0 scoreline at Fairlop with Billy Happe scoring a hat-trick, Graham Bryan two, Harry Rouse and Mitchell Mills the others.
DIVISION FIVE
There was just the one surviving game back in the league which saw Alpha produce a win in their east London derby match at Athletic Newham. Chris Ablitt and Ronnie Wilson goals proved not quite enough for Newham as Alpha won the match 4-2.
DIVISION SIX
Over at Parsloes Park, it was an eight goal game between Newbury Kings and Valence United B with the latter eventually confirming the points in a 5-3 success. Jordan Cook produced a hat-trick performance, Jamie Wooster and Jahsiah Weekes adding the other efforts.
DIVISION SEVEN
United Amateurs Reserves produced a big win in Newbury Park on Sunday, beating Zone 4 Athletic in a 7-1 scoreline after Jack Chawner, Henry Sleight and Alfie Green had all scored twice, Tyler Junior with the other while Toby Doyle scored for Zone in reply.
It was victory for the league leaders too who took the win in Hainault to move a step closer to title glory following a 2-0 win against Highams Park Rangers. Joshua Craske and Bailey Pryce both scored goals for the hosts to hand another three points.
COUNTY CUP
JK Silvertown Reserves saw their county cup run reach an end at the last eight stage after a late goal from a Nishmans placed four divisions higher saw the visitors win 2-1 and move on through to the last four of the competition.
OUTSIDE COMPETITIONS
In the Plumstead Challenge Cup, fourth round action saw AC Milano with a home tie and taking on South East Athletic where a strong performance saw Milano through to the quarter-finals on the back of a 5-2 win, setting up a meeting with Hatcham in the last eight.
