CORINTHIAN CUP

Division One's Theydon Green are through into the semi-finals of this season's Corinthian Cup competition as they renewed old acquantancies with AC Milano, coming out on top in a 2-1 success in Loughton. Cairo Bibbon struck for AC but Green goals from Max Jessop and Luke Dimond earned them a place in the last four.

Also securing a place in the last four were Flyhouse Athletic who edged their way past the vastly improved FLY over in Newbury Park to give themselves a shot at another cup final place. The hosts withstood the efforts of their opponents to net the game's only goal in a 1-0 win, heading on to face Debden Sports Reserves.

TROPHYLAND CUP

In the Trophyland Cup, Manford Way Reserves made it two semi-final appearances for the season as they edged a close game against Mansfield Rangers to head on through. They were 1-0 winners in the game through Jake Li's effort and will now await the progress of sides in the other half of the draw to determine their opponents.

Also heading into a big semi-final are Warren Senior who put their recent indifferent form in the league to back of their minds as they completed a solid 4-1 win away at Eastern Avenue. Scott McGlynn scored twice for Warren with Lewis Gardener and Michael Turner efforts accounting for the other goals to send them through.

SENIOR DIVISION CUP

The weekend's rearranged Senior Division Cup quarter-final between El Valiente and Brook Athletic saw the sides meet in east London for the right to host next weekend's semi-final. And it will be Brook who leave the happier of the two sides as Ishmael Raymond, Marcel McDonald and Reece Simpson goals see them finish 3-0 winners.

SENIOR DIVISION

With other sides in cup action, Manford Way had the chance to make inroads in the league and they did just that, earning themselves another three point haul with victory against London All Stars to go top of the table. The hosts were 6-2 winners, their seventh league win of the season, with five games left to go.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One, Gants Hill have moved to within three points of the promotion places after coming out on the right side of a hard fought contest against Total Football in East Ham, Carl Parsons was on the scoresheet for the visitors with their goal but that proved just in consolation by full-time as Hill finished 2-1 winners.

Over in Hainault, Oceana earned themselves another valuable point in their quest to avoid the drop as they shared the spoils against FC Galaxy, the game ending in a 2-2 draw. Mihai Mareniuc scored twice for the visitors but Oceana goals from Tom Parsons and Kai Stephen were instrumental in ensuring they took home a point.

DIVISION TWO CUP

The Division Two Cup has it's first finalist as Barking & Dagenham Wanderers netted their first final in a number of seasons following a 3-0 win away at Abridge Village on Sunday. They have Deji Akinyemi to thank for scoring twice and an Alex Leslie effort off the bench rounded off a big win for the visitors to book their place at Mayesbrook Park.

DIVISION TWO

The day's only game in Division Two came from east London as Higham Hill played host to Debden Sports Reserves at Low Hall Farm. And it was the visitors, Debden, who added to their cup record this season with another three points in the league, winning 3-1. Louie Blank, Will Osmond and Charlie Harper were all on the scoresheet with goals.

DIVISION THREE

It's United Amateurs who remain atop of the table in Division Three as they racked up win number ten for the season on Sunday, coming away 5-1 victors from their trip to Alpha to move three points clear at the summit. Melvyn Nketia and Leon Arif both scored twice, Jack Chawner netting the other to keep them well placed.

Moving up into second, Singh Sabha Barking are up into the promotion places with one game of their season to go, making it nine wins following their promotion last season, beating FC Mexico B in a 7-2 scoreline. With sides below having a number of games in hand, it may be a short stay in the top two but Barking can be reasonably pleased with their efforts.

DIVISION FOUR

In Division Four, Belfry Reserves have moved to within two more wins of the league title following the weekend's results as they were comprehensive 11-0 winners against Horse & Well. Jamie Redington scored four goals, Nathan Casey struck twice with Alex Robinson, Jordan Riches, Lee Newton, Luke MacDonald and Ryan O'Connell scoring the others.

DIVISION FIVE

It's congratulations to Colebrook Royals Reserves who became the first league champions of the season, doing what they needed to do against Ultimate Vision Reserves, winning 8-1. Phorell Brooke's five-goal haul was pivotal in their success on Sunday, Jamie Meakin adding two off the bench and Harley Stevens striking the other. A big well done to Russ and all the players on their achievement.

Royals' opponents in the upcoming cup final will be Lonsdale who kept their strong recent form going at the weekend, earning a 4-1 home win against Dagenham Rangers at Castle Green. Kalium Fletcher scored two, George Owen and Conor Treadwell netting the others as that result moved them up into sixth place.

DIVISION SIX CUP

It was semi-final day for two DIvision Six sides as title chasing Young Royals were in home action against Ridgeway Rovers for the right to face Ping in the final. A pair of Harley Hillman goals and a Sanchez Bolessa effort were the difference in a 3-2 Rovers win who overcame the odds to take victory and book their place in the final next month.

DIVISION SIX

In the league action, Valence United Reserves closed the gap on the promotion places to just a point as they turned their fortunes around against Zone 4 Athletic to win 6-0. Billy Biggs scored twice, adding to efforts from Malakye Meade, Ayomide Ibuola, Eligijus Dapkus and Alfie Westland.

Over in Hainault, the Redbridge derby game between Royal Lions C and Epping Forest Falcons saw the sides share five goals, Lions the side to walk away with the win in a 3-2 scoreline to further cement their place in top four ahead of the final games. With games in hand, Epping can still catch their opponents but will need other results to go their way.

COUNTY CUP

It was semi-final day in the Essex Sunday Junior Trophy where two epic contests saw an all-Corinthian final secured. In Dagenham, Valence United, finalists from last year, raced into a 3-0 lead against Upshire Forest at the break only for Upshire to fight back and incredibly level at 3-3. But a stunner in the dying moments from Valence saw them complete a 4-3 win to return back to the same stage again this year.

Over in South Woodham Ferrers, Colebrook Royals' quite astonishing run to the this stage only started in February with numerous consecutive ties seeing them reach a last four game against last year's winners, Woodham Radars Reserves. Trailing to an early Radars go, it took until the last quarter of the game for Royals to level before they scored twice more to break Radar resistence.

This season's Essex Sunday Junior Trophy Final will therefore see Colebrook Royals face rivals Valence United on Friday 14th April at Heybridge Swifts FC, kicking off at 7.45pm.

In north west London, the London Sunday Challenge Cup holders, Hatch Lane, faced up to the challenge of Highgate Albion once again after their early season tie in the FA Sunday Cup. After a goalless first half, the key five minutes of the game came early in the second half where Hatch saw a player stretchered off before conceding twice in a matter of minutes to head out of the competition, 2-0.
