Brook Athletic are the new leaders in the Senior Division after a derby win on Sunday over previous leaders, AC Milano. A 2-0 win for Brook in Newbury Park saw them move a point ahead of their rivals with just a couple of games to go.

DIVISION ONE

It’s incredibly close at the top of Division One where Woodford Town sit top by a point but were held to a score draw at Whitbreads with JK Silvertown also netting a point in a 1-1 draw. Luke Dimond found the back of the net to help keep his side top.

Third placed Upshire Forest done their chances a world of good after a stunning 10-0 away win over FC Galaxy at Castle Green. Joseph Fletcher scored six and Reggie Pegrum a hat-trick to lead the way, Kyle Smith with the other goal to keep their side very much in the race.

It was semi-final day for two sides in the West Essex Trophy competition as last season’s finalists, Byron Red Star, were up against an Alpha side from two divisions beneath them. But it was the lower ranked side who completed the job, Alpha edging the tie 3-2 to send their side to May’s final.
