CORINTHIAN CUP

The line-up for this season's Corinthian Cup semi-finals was completed this Easter Sunday and it saw London All Stars book their place in the last four against Theydon Green, defeating Hatch Lane in a 3-1 scoreline at the Marshes. Ali Bangura netted twice and Gianfranco Mici once to send All Stars through.

TROPHYLAND CUP

The remaining Trophyland Cup third round action finally saw Ainslie host Colebrook Royals Vets at Wadham Lodge on Sunday, a game which saw Royals continue their strong form, winning 4-2. Nicholas Chrysanthou, Ivan Machado, Omar Mahmood and Ben Sitki were all on target to put the county cup finalists through to the next round.

SENIOR DIVISION CUP

It was semi-finals day in the Senior Division Cup with both matches taking place on adjoining pitches at Fords. On the main pitch, it was a memorable morning for FLY who have turned around their season in stunning fashion and will now take their place in the final, Salim Nassor scoring both second half goals in a 2-0 win against Brook Athletic.

Just a few yards away, it was another great day for Flyhouse Athletic who warmed up for their impending Essex county cup final with semi-final success once more, taking the honours against the national champions, Baiteze Squad, in a 4-1 scoreline, returning to the final they competed in last year.

DIVISION ONE

In Division One, seventh placed Barking Riverside were in double header action with a trip to Benchviews. The first game ended level at 1-1 to share the spoils, Zach Aliane's effort for the hosts levelled by Soloman Asomah. But game two saw a Riverside win as Aaron Matthews and Ryan Gardiner goals edged the contest 2-1, Zach Aliane striking the hosts' consolation.

Over in Hainault, Gants Hill's trip to Oceana saw them retain their promotion hopes for a while longer, moving into second spot with a 2-0 win under their belts, that being win number ten in the league this season. With three over clubs still hovering around with games in hand, the race for promotion will surely go all the way in this division.

DIVISION TWO

The race for the title in Division Two couldn't be much closer with three clubs seperated by just a point at the top. Abridge Village sit top after improving their goal difference  in a 22-2 win against Barking. Leon Adeyemi scored nine and Jake Clarke four to set them on the way with Michael Bello, Rodney Capemba and Joe Parrott all scoring twice. Danny Fleck and Tosin OIodo goals finished it off with Joe Blewitt and Denzel Mensah netting consolations.

Trailing by goal difference but with a game in hand, AC Milano have things in their hands heading into the final six games of the campaign, their position strenghened after picking up a massively important 1-0 win in a hard fought contest with Newbury Forest. That win was AC's tweltfh of the season as they look ahead to the crucial run-in.

Barking & Dagenham Wanderers sit a further point back and will hope for a slip up from one of the two sides ahead of them, game number sixteen in the season bringing them a 9-0 home victory against Higham Hill at Robert Clack to wrap up a twelfth win of their own with four games of their season to go.

Cup semi-finalists, Leytonstone Athletic, warmed up for their big game in the coming weeks with a big win in the league, defeating fourth placed Cloud 9 by scoring the game's only goal in a 1-0 win. Donell Sarkodee scored the game's only goal for Leytonstone to move them to within two points of the teams above in the table.

Over in South Ockendon, East London Harriers were the hosts to a relegation threatened Inside Success side, the Harriers beginning the day with a six point lead over their opponents. But that lead had reduced by full-time as Inside Success earned themselves a 6-2 win to close the gap.

DIVISION FOUR

It's congratulations to Belfry Reserves who were able to wrap up the Division Four league title following promotion to the division last season, ending the hopes of fourth placed City Site in the process. Lee Newton scored a hat-trick, Ryan O'Connell and Nathan Casey scoring the others in a 5-1 win, rendering Alex Paraskeva's strike as just consolation.

The race for promotion remains very tight with Warren Senior presently sitting in second, aided by their most recent success, a 4-2 home win against Brymans Park at Westlands. Luke Broomfield and Shane Taylor were both on the Park scoresheet but two Scott McGlynn goals plus one apiece from Charlie Bridgeman and Anthony Cooke gave their side the points.

Games in hand could yet still be vital for third placed Byron Red Star who enter the last three games of the season with much to play for, wrapping up win number ten this term with a 5-1 home win against Chingford Athletic on Sunday. Liam Pickett scored a hat-trick for Star with Matthew Fagan and Adrian John efforts rounding things off.

DIVISION FIVE

Manford Way Reserves' resurgent form continued on Sunday as they moved up into sixth place in the standings following their local derby success against Mayfield Kings. Jake Li and Jake Foster were the difference between the sides, both scoring for Manford in a 2-0 win to keep their hopes of a top three finish alive.

DIVISION SIX

Young Royals have moved to within two points of the top with a couple of games in hand still though did need to work hard in the Barkingside derby to edge to a 4-3 win against Ping City Phoenixes. Amalraj Kakumanu scored twice, Tiago Carrico and Mayurashanth Pararajasignam netting the others to keep their visitors in pole position.

Cup final bound Ridgeway Rovers kept up their momentum heading towards that occasion, earning all three points on the road with a win against Zone 4 Athletic in Newbury Park. Rovers were 1-0 winners, Harley Hillman scoring that goal, to pick up just a fifth win in the league this season for the ninth placed side.
