WEEK 31 REVIEW: Round-up of all the Corinthian League action from the weekend

NATIONAL CUP
It was national cup semi-final day at Sixfields on Sunday where East London Ballers fell behind to a close range North Solihull Athletic finish early in the second half before Keanu Hill got in behind to level the game at 1-1. A missed Ballers penalty late on meant that a shootout was needed and it was North Solihull who held their nerve to win that 3-2 and reach the final. Commiserations to all at Ballers for a tremendous campaign.
COUNTY CUP
Over at Parsloes Park, Hatch Lane were involved in their own semi-final drama in the London Sunday Challenge Cup where Hatcham got into a lead. But Hatch got themselves back on terms and then went on to pull off a 2-1 win late on to secure their place in the final once again where they will now face Highgate Albion in a mouth-watering game.
TROPHYLAND CUP
Back on the domestic front, it semi-final day as Colebrook Royals Reserves faced Chingford Athletic for a place in the final. It was a Royal performance from the hosts who notched all seven goals in a 7-0 success, goals from Jason Lewis, Makai Fray, Djean Holland, Harley Lewis, Jordan Rock, Thomas Smith and Adam Idris.
CHARITY CUP
It was also semi-final day in the West Essex Sunday Charity Trophy where an all-league affair saw Mansfield Rangers up against East End United at Douglas Eyre. After a goalless draw, a shootout was needed to seperate the sides with East End coming out on top to take a 5-4 win and a place in the final.
SENIOR DIVISION
The Senior Division action saw a close affair in Newbury Park where Club 1017 and AC Milano were both in action on Sunday. The teams couldn't be seperated by the end with the game ending in a 1-1 draw, a result which keeps Club in third and AC Milano in sixth respectively.
DIVISION ONE
It was all change at the top once again in Division One where Debden Sports Reserves crucial win at home against Colebrook Royals meant they leapped above them to the summit with two games to go. Archie Hammond scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 Sports win.
Another big result affecting the top of the standings saw Critics leap up into third spot after they earned all three points in a 3-1 home success against Repton Park. Sam Hamerton scored the Repton goal but that wasn't quite enough in the end as Critics took the win.
Total Football wrapped up their season in Division One with win number eight this term, moving up into seventh spot after a terrific 5-1 away win against Benchviews in Newbury Park. Oliver Marshall racked up a hat-trick, Carl Parsons adding the other in a strong performance.
DIVISION TWO
It's congratulations to Woodford Town who made it two league titles in succession on Sunday following a 2-0 home win against Singh Sabha Barking at Whitbreads which gave them the points that they needed to confirm a top spot finish. Many congratulations to all at Town on another great achievement with a cup final still to come.
FC Galaxy warmed up for their upcoming county final, moving up into third spot in the league with a 4-1 away win against Upshire Forest at Town Mead. Mihalache Dumitru scored twice with Andrei Cazacu and Alexandru Saru notching the others for the visitors.
DIVISION THREE
A cup final dress rehearsal game saw Warren Senior taking on South Ilford Catholics on Sunday, a game which saw Warren net another league win, 5-1 winners through goals from James Grima, Pacey Breshani, Nathan Elgie, Jack Glenister and Callum Gardener.
It was a tight affair in the division's other game where champions Leytonstone Athletic continued their winning ways with a narrow 2-1 victory against Ainslie at Wadham Lodge. Adam Rex and Reece Simpson scored the goals for Leytonstone to make it seventeen wins for the season.
DIVISION FOUR
There were goals galore in Division Four, beginning in Hainault where Prospect Protege and Debden Sports A traded nine in a narrow 5-4 win for Debden. Oscar Simmons scored a hat-trick, Benjamin Fletcher netting the other for Sports while Emmanuel Alo's brace for Prospect added to other goals from Charlie Dillon and Archie Kieran.
The other game came from Chigwell where Coppice Row face Asianos, the hosts last runout of the season. It was an Asianos victory on this occasion, the visitors winning the game 6-2 despite Row goals from both Ben Wright and Afolabi Olugbile in response.
DIVISION FIVE
May & Baker EC ended their season with a final three points to place them top of the table on goals scored and awaiting other results. David Macauley scored a hat-trick, Deondre Ashun struck twice and Alfie Westland added the other to beat Alpha in a 6-0 scoreline.
Over in Dagenham, Lonsdale made a big shift up the table, moving up into eighth place in the standings in their quest to avoid the drop, beating cup finalists Young Royals in a 3-1 scoreline. Kalium Fletcher, Emanuel Ntoi and Charlie Owen all netted, overcoming Sujiven Jeyaratnam's goal for Royals.
The other game saw Epping Town in home action with the visit of Athletic Newham to Stonards Hill in a tightly contested fixture. It was just a single goal that seperated the teams in the end with Jack Field the man doing the honours to give Newham a 1-0 success.
DIVISION SIX
The sole action from Division Six saw London Legacy pick up the points in a hard fought 3-2 home win against FC Mexico at Parsloes Park, Yassir Saadani scoring two and Mohamed Noor the other in their seventh win of the season. Mihail Cojocari struck with both goals for the Mexicans in reply.
