COUNTY CUP

Sunday morning saw the conclusion of the Essex Junior Cup Final at Bowers & Pitsea where FC Galaxy were taking on a strong Heath Athletic side. A slow start from the league side saw them three down within the first twelve minutes. Galaxy reduced the deficit midway through the second half and looked in good order to make further inroads but a fourth Heath goal meant it was them lifting the cup after a 4-1 scoreline. Well done to all at FC Galaxy on such a great run to the final.

TROPHYLAND CUP

The line-up for this season's Trophyland Cup Final is now complete and there will be Division Four representation in the game as Manford Way secured a second cup final berth, overcoming Mike Elsmore's goal for East End United to score three of their own in a 3-1 success. They now take on Colebrook in May at Dagenham & Redbridge.

SENIOR DIVISION CUP

East London Ballers secured progression into the semi-finals of the Senior Division Cup, netting themselves a 5-3 win in their penultimate group game against Hatch Lane. Chaka Barnett struck two, Kishawn James, Salim Nassor and Khristopher Oti adding the others on the day.

DIVISION ONE

Colebrook Royals have moved to the top of Division One and reasserted themselves as title favourites this year, racking up a big 5-1 home win on Sunday morning against St Augustines. Kaci Henry scored a hat-trick with Presley Evans and Ned Ozkasim scoring the others to move closer to the silverware.

DIVISION TWO

It was a case of defences on top in the game from Division Two where East London Ballers Under 23s were up against AC Milano Reserves in east London. Neither team could break the deadlock, the game ending in one of those very rare 0-0 draws.

DIVISION THREE CUP

The first league cup final of the season on Friday evening pitted South Ilford Catholics up against Warren Senior once again and it was lit up by a wonderful effort from Ilford's Orintas Mikulskas in the first half, firing in from 35 yards. Warren battled back and eventually got a leveller in the dying moments with Jack Glenister netting to send it to penalties. It was to be South Ilford who took home the trophy with a 5-4 shootout win in front of a bumper crowd.

DIVISION THREE

Colebrook Royals Reserves missed the chance to move closer to the promotion places on Sunday as Romford Town Flyers produced one of their best performances of the season to win 4-1 at Westlands. Clinton Odoku's hat-trick set them on their way with Lloyd Ross adding the other. Jordan Rock netted the Colebrook goal in reply.

DIVISION FOUR

Debden Sports A have been confirmed as runners-up following Sunday's results, promoted in their first season after a hard fought 2-1 win against Cardinals Athletic at Chigwell Lane. Elliot Betts and Oscar Simmons struck for the hosts with Tom Hedaux notching for Cardinals.

That outcome was made possible after Prospect Protege produced a stunning win against the county finalists, Byron Red Star, Prospect winning 7-1 at Hylands Park. Emmanuel Alo, Charlie Dillon, Louie Handley, Archie Kieran and Joseph Hill all found the back of the net in a goal-filled contest.

DIVISION FIVE

The stage is set in Division Five for an Easter showdown after Valence United B moved to within striking distance following a 5-1 win against Athletic Newham. Jamie Crews scored for Newham with Ryan Knight (2), Charlie Surridge, Rowan Newland and Scott Gillick scoring in reply.

Mansfield Rangers' late charge to escape the bottom two saw them travel up to Stonards Hill to take on Epping Town and it was a single goal from Rangers' Ilyas Bedir off the bench that seperated the teams, Mansfield winning 1-0 to net a fourth league win of the season.

There was plenty of goal action at Town Mead where Chingford Athletic and Lonsdale shared six goals in an entertaining 3-3 draw. Justin Clarke, Kwame Woodley and Jayden Kelly all scored for Chingford with Kalium Fletcher, Klodjan Gjeta and Charlie Owen goals ensuring both teams shared the points.

Young Royals kept their momentum going with a positive performance against fifth-placed Alpha at Wanstead Flats, the cup finalists winning 3-1. That result was Royals' fourth of the season and keeps them in the fight to avoid relegation with two games to go.

DIVISION SIX

In Division Six, it was third versus fourth at Chigwell Lane where Ping City Phoenixes' penultimate outing of the season saw them take all three points against cup finalists, Debden Sports B. Harrison Hastings came off the bench to score two, Varun Syal and Rafael Perez netting the others in a 4-0 Ping win.

DIVISION SEVEN

It was a round of score draws in Division Seven, beginning at Parsloes Park where the top two, Valence United C and Gatcliffe, ended locked at 2-2 to keep things tight at the summit. Jamie Wooster scored twice for Valence, helping his team to take a point.

That same scoreline was reflected from Barkingside where Zone 4 Athletic took another point in a 2-2 draw against Barking Colts. Chris Churchill and Marcos Haley netted for Zone with Omar Salim on the scoresheet for Colts to take a share of the spoils.

Going one better, it was a 3-3 draw in the remaining game where Emerson & Upminster ended up sharing the points on the day against Warren United. Alfie Emin, Louis Cook-Forrester and Alfie Webb all scored for Emerson with Patrick Kalonda's brace and a Ziyad Zikrya goal levelling the contest.

CHARITY CUP

The first of the West Essex Cup semi-finals was a familiar affair with JK Silvertown taking on AC Milano for a place at Oakside in late May. A couple of first half goals for Milano were added to by another in the second half, the visitors confirming their place in the final once again.
