WEEK 33 REVIEW: Round-up of all the Corinthian League action from the weekend

DIVISION ONE
The Division One title chase will go to the final round of games following victory for Woodford Town on Sunday, moving them six points clear at the summit. Town were 2-1 winners in their final match against AC Milano Reserves, completing a ninth league victory in the process.
DIVISION THREE CUP
On Friday evening, it was back to Parkside to see the conclusion of the Division Three Cup between Manford Way and Condor Reserves. Sonny Binet was on top form on the night and he struck twice for Manford, Lloyd Gullefer adding the other as Manford secured the trophy with a solid 3-0 victory.
DIVISION THREE
Following Friday night’s cup action, Manford Way were back to league football on Sunday and saw a couple of vital dropped points in a 2-2 draw away at Debden Sports Reserves. Luke Coppen and Elliot Betts struck for Sports with Dylan Fagan and Ollie Scott netting for Manford.
That result meant that Byron Red Star were able to extend their lead at the top to four points with three games to go, producing a strong 7-2 away win over Euro Stars to confirm a thirteenth win of the season so far.
DIVISION FIVE
Newbury Drive are the new leaders of Division Five with three games to go, netting a double header success against Athletic Newham. 2-1 was the first scoreline with Paul Schouwenburg and Harry Rouse scoring, Chris Ablitt netting in reply, before Alfie Mobey and Graham Bryan goals gave Drive a 2-0 win second time around.
There were nine goals in another game from Douglas Eyre where Mansfield Rangers beat London Legacy 5-4. Charlie Saywood and Emmanuel Kouassi both scored twice for Legacy but Jay Kanber (2), Sam Rollason, Heritier Lomena and Brandon Dillon efforts gave Rangers the three points.
Over at Stonards Hill, it was all three points for the hosts, Epping Town, who earned a narrow 2-1 home win over Young Royals, Royals’ tenth success of the campaign. Matthew Winter and James Smith-Pryor scored the goals that saw their side over the line.
DIVISION SIX
Chingford Athletic sit three points off the leaders with three games to go, picking up a big win at home to Valence United B in a 5-2 scoreline. Serjan Culaj, PJ Marcus, Michael Mignot, Kimani McDonald and Bobby Deemer all found the net in the win for the hosts.
CHARITY CUP
In the West Essex Sunday Charity Trophy, it was semi-final day in Rainham where the holders, East End United were taking on Prospect Protégé for a place at Oakside later in the month. It was the higher ranked Prospect side who confirmed their place however with a 6-2 victory and setting up a trophy showdown against Alpha.
