DIVISION FOUR CUP FINAL
A sparkling Division Four Cup Final kicked off the weekend on Friday night as East End United and Manford Way produced a classic. Herman Mwanza gave Manford a lead which Mike Elsmore levelled shortly after. Elsmore's penalty then put United ahead. Mwanza struck another to make it 2-2 and they scored again in stoppage time to lead 3-2. The drama was still not over and Joe McEnroe's lob levelled it yet again before Ryan Mallett's dramatic late free-kick gave East End United a memorable 4-3 success.
DIVISION SIX CUP FINAL
On Sunday morning, it took just the one goal to seperate the teams in the Division Six Cup Final where Newbury Drive were taking on Debden Sports B at Parkside. Luey Young was the hero, coming off the bench to curl in the only goal of the game to confirm a 1-0 Newbury win and their first trophy as a club.
DIVISION ONE CUP FINAL
The Division One Cup Final on Sunday afternoon pitted Repton Park up against a JK Silvertown side, the two teams locked close in the league table. It was JK who held the lead at the break and could have had more goals. They were punished in the second half as Tom House's super strike brought Repton level before George Johnson's terrific solo effort saw Repton net a 2-1 win and lift the trophy!
LONDON CUP FINAL
Over at Mayesbrook Park, it was London Sunday Challenge Cup Final day where an eagerly awaited clash pitted the newly crowned national champions, Highgate Albion, up against Hatch Lane. It was a burst of three goals in the run-in to half time that started to open the gap with Albion 3-0 up at the break. They didn't relent and added two more in the second period to comfortably record a 5-0 win and another trophy to their haul.
ENDEAVOUR CUP
The last semi-final action of the season saw Colebrook Royals A confirm a place at Dagenham & Redbridge later in the month as they edged past Inter Newbury 3-2 in Loughton. Oliver West, Arthur Massingham and George Marlborough scored the all important Royals goals to send them to the final!
SENIOR DIVISION
There was double header action at Fords on Sunday where co-tenants AC Milano and Brook Athletic faced off. Milano were 3-1 winners in the opening game before a seven-goal thriller in game two saw Milano win that one also, 4-3, to net all six points.
DIVISION TWO
In Division Two, FC Galaxy and East London Ballers Under 23s completed their respective seasons with Galaxy the side to walk away the happier from Parsloes Park with Mihai Mareniuc's brace and an Andrei Cazacu goal seeing them edge a close game 3-2.
DIVISION THREE
As we approach the last knockings in Division Three, Warren Senior's charge for promotion saw them take a bit of a hit as Ainslie netted themselves a 3-1 win at Wadham Lodge, that win moving Ainslie to fifth spot in the standings at the close of their season.
