Clarification on substitutions - rule 10(G)

The League wish to clarify the use of substitutes within our League and League Cup competition matches.
It has been highlighted that, on more than one occasion this season, teams having been utilising repeated substitutions (i.e. roll-on, roll-off) which is in breach of rule 10(G).
Can we remind you all that this was NOT a rule change that was proposed for use this season and therefore the traditional "3 from 5" still applies.
Please note however that some external cup competitions, particularly the county cups, DO operate repeated substitutions so please be clear on the rules before starting a fixture. The West Essex Sunday Charity Cup does NOT operate repeated substitutes.
This information has been re-communicated with match officials to ensure that the correct interpretation is applied.
